Whiskey Battery Reunion, 2008
The 2008 Whiskey 2/11 reunion will be held the 28th of June through July 5 in Brookville/Metamora, Indiana. Gary and Janet Seals will be our hosts this year. They have looked into lodging and come up with B&B's in Metamora, where they live, and in surrounding towns close by. Everyone is on their own for making reservations but a head count would be nice. In Metamora (approx 4 mi west of the Seals home)....
- Hospitality House
- Grapevine House
- Metamora Inn
In Brookville (approx 4 mi east of the Seals home)...
- The Hermitage Bed and Breakfast
- The Brookville Inn
The following place is in the "country" (approx 12 mi from the Seals home) but close to where the fireworks and picnic will be on the 4th)....
- Hickory Road Inn
Each of these has at least 3 bedrooms so they could easily accomodate at least 18 fellas and their spouses and families.
Gary and Janet are still checking into other B&B's in the area and there are other options like cabins, motels, camping.
Let us know your thoughts or if you have any concerns. We're trying to look at the B&B's to make sure they're OK. One not on our list was "OK" but rooms were very small.
This years Reunion should be lots of fun and a great time for old troops and our families. Join us this year and remember to RSVP to Gary and Janet so we have a head count.
